What you will need:
• A baked plain sponge
• Butter cream
• 100g butter
• 200g icing sugar
• Vanilla essence to taste
• Cake pop sticks
• Decorations e.g. 100’s and 1000’s
• Bag of candy melting chocolate
• A cake pop stand or Oasis to hold the cake pops

Start by ... placing your baked plain sponge in a food blender to crumb or you can crumb by hand!

2. Add small amounts of buttercream to the cake crumb and knead together until mix binds together

3. Weight the mix into small pieces of about 28g

4. Roll the pieces in your hand to form a tight ball and place on a tray

5. Dip the end of a cake pop stick into some melted candy and push into one of the cake balls (most of the way in)

6. Place the cake pops in a fridge to set. Leave for at least 3 hours to harden, or preferably over-night

7. Melt the candy melt chocolate and dip cake pops

8. Hold the cake pop upright twisting gently until any access has dripped off, then sprinkle your 100’s and 1000’s over the cake pops

9. Leave to dry standing upright on your stand

And finally … ENJOY!!
