Spring is a wonderful time! We can appreciate the sun for longer, the Easter bunny hops in for chocolate cake, and Mother's Day celebrations are enjoyed. We're not sure about you, but we wouldn't dream of hosting a spring party without a cake.

As summer approaches, the temperature rises, and we tend to enjoy lighter, more refreshing flavours. This is no exception for cakes. There is a whole range of cakes to be enjoyed in the summer sun. Just to name a few, a summer afternoon tea, tasty berry cakes, and of course, refreshing lemon cakes.

Summer Afternoon Tea

The perfect summer afternoon pick-me-up. Afternoon tea is a popular summer tradition, and we can see why! A luxurious mix of sweet and savoury treats. Each light and delicious, afternoon tea is excellent during the summer months as it doesn't leave you feeling lethargic.

Refreshing Summer Lemon Cake

Lemon is very well known for its bright colour and refreshing flavour. If you are hosting a party and planning to impress this summer, we suggest treating yourself and your guests to a Lemon Candy Stripe Gateau.
