Line Leader

 We are looking for a Line Leader to join our bakery in Hall Green, Birmingham on a full time basis.

Hours: 40 hours full time shift work, to include weekends and bank holidays on a rota.

The Role:

• Pre-start check sheets for all your lines are to be completed accurately and prior to production starting and close down checks
• Health and Safety Responsibilities
• Quality Champion – Actively look for and identify quality issues work with QA on product quality.
• Ensure compliance to QAS all paperwork to be correctly completed and specifications followed.
• Identify sub-standard product, isolate and inform Unit Manager
• Ensure that all raw materials, products and processes adhere to the company traceability throughout your line.
• Taste panel attendance and samples
• Manage your line efficiently record productivity – ensure plans are achieved
• Taste panel attendance
• Manage labour - Register/holidays/absence
• Clean as you go policy
• Identify faults and report to Unit Manager
• All downtime is recorded
• Identify and rectify key areas of waste on the production line/process.
• Record waste
• Highlight sub standard product

About You:

We are looking for a driven individual who is motivated and passionate about working as a team:

• Able to communicate effectively with internal customers and suppliers
• To be able to train new starters to fulfil roles required within your line in any of the units
• Previous experience in a Fast food environment
• Level 3 food safety required as a minimum.
• Approachable with an outgoing personality
