Production Operative

 We are looking for experienced production operatives, working within a fast food environment. Distributing high quality patisserie to our stores throughout the UK. The role will be based at our bakery in Hall Green, Birmingham.

The ideal Production Operative will be:
• Experienced in a similar role
• Able to work as part of a team or individually
• Reliable and motivated
• Flexible in terms of working hours
• Competent both written and verbally
• Minimum level 1 food safety
• Protective clothing and safety shoes will be provided

Daily duties of a Production Operative:
• Working with a team of people on a production line in a chilled environment
• Enjoys and wants to be an active member of a team
• Good attention to detail whilst working in a fast pace environment
• Strip and clean down the production line in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Comply with all Food Hygiene and Allergen Control requirements as stipulated within Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
• General knowledge and application of company procedures and product quality standards.
• To maintain acceptable housekeeping standards at all times, and to ensure a clean and safe working environment for all employees.
• Any other duties deemed necessary for the benefit of the Company by management.

Hours of work for a Production Operative will be on a rota basis, 40 hours per week including weekends.
