5. Delivery Advice & Timing
To help everything go smoothly:
6. Frozen Packaging & Defrosting Instructions
Our cakes are baked fresh, frozen, and packed with dry ice to help keep the cake frozen during transit and maintain its quality during delivery.
Once delivered, store the cake in the refrigerator and allow it to defrost before serving. Please follow the storage and defrosting instructions provided on the label inside the cake box.
While every effort is made to maintain the product frozen during delivery, transit times, weather conditions, and courier handling may affect the temperature on arrival. Products may arrive partially thawed but remain safe to refrigerate and consume according to the storage instructions provided.
8. Dry Ice Safety Guidelines
Dry ice is solid carbon dioxide (-78°C) — a safe, environmentally friendly material recovered from natural CO₂, used to preserve perishable food in transit.
Please handle with care:
You may notice small tears or holes in the dry ice bag caused during transit; this does not affect the safety of the product.
Your order will arrive frozen, properly insulated with dry ice and/or ice pack coolants to preserve its freshness and quality throughout transit. These cooling agents maintain the ideal temperature, ensuring your cake stays perfectly protected until it reaches you. Once delivered, it’s ready to be placed in your home freezer or refrigerator and enjoy!
Dry ice is a solid carbon dioxide at minus 78°C. Because dry ice is very cold and has bacteriostatic properties, it is often used to help preserve perishable food products during transit. Dry ice is an environmentally friendly product and has been manufactured from recovered carbon dioxide.
Dry ice naturally transforms from carbon dioxide gas as it warms. Even a small amount produces a large volume of gas, so it is important to handle it with care. Always follow the safety instructions below to ensure proper use and disposal.
Allow unopened dry ice to slowly dissipate as it turns into gas, or handle with care and dispose of immediately. Dry ice naturally evaporates into carbon dioxide gas, expanding up to 500 times its volume.
If your dry ice bags or cartons have small holes, your product remains safe and unaffected.
