This cake was perfect in every way. The topping so light & delicately fruity, the sponge just like my gran makes it. Ordering online direct from the store site was so easy and I received regular emails about delivery. It arrived exactly as stated (48hrs) and was still frozen as expected. Looking forward to ordering again. The 'shop' app (suggested upon purchase) was terrible the tracking was very unreliable, fortunately we received the emails. 10/10 Patisserie Valerie. 0/10 shop app.

I ordered this for my sons 21st to serve 10 people and it was more than enough. I had never ordered from patisserie Valerie before and really wasn’t sure how this cake was going to arrive without being squashed or the icing wrecked. The packaging is so good tho that even when the delivery man had it tilted it didn’t budge in the box! I kept checking my delivery time as it arrives frozen and I was worried if I wasn’t in it would be left out defrosting. Arrived on time and I put it straight into the chest freezer in its box. It defrosted nicely the following day and was very tasty. There were a couple of pieces left that were still nice on day 4. Would recommend
