An elegant and sophisticated two-tier wedding cake is the perfect centrepiece for your special day. This beautifully versatile cake will compliment any colour scheme, or you can add your finishing own touches.

Each tier is comprised of three layers of Patisserie Valerie’s supreme plain sponge filled with luscious rings of fresh cream and strawberry compote filling. The cake is coated in silky Swiss meringue buttercream with hand carved rustic grooves indented around the sides.

Serves 36 portions.

Please note - in order to keep your cake standing tall, we have used cake dowels in the bottom tier, and a cake board under the top tier. Please take care to remove these when serving your cake.

Our Rustic Chic Wedding Cake is baked fresh, then frozen and packed with dry ice to protect its beautiful appearance during transport and, of course, to ensure it tastes completely fresh for your special occasion. You will need to defrost your cake before consumption, you can do this overnight in the fridge for a minimum of 8 hours. This cake is encased in delicious Swiss buttercream which tastes best at room temperature, so we recommend taking your cake out of the fridge thirty minutes before serving.

We have been lovingly baking spectacular wedding centrepieces for almost 100 years so we know careful wedding planning is required to ensure your special day goes without a hitch.

What wedding cake delivery options are available?

We offer nationwide wedding cake delivery options throughout mainland UK (excluding highlands and islands). Please enter your postcode on the cart page to confirm delivery slot availability.

How far in advance should I order my wedding cake online?

We are currently reserving delivery slots 90 days in advance. For weddings, we strongly recommend selecting a delivery date at least 2 days before the big day.

Can I customise the design of my wedding cake?

We want to make your special day personal to you! If you are looking to customise your cake for the big day please contact our customer service team prior to ordering and we will do our best to accomadate your request.

How will the cake arrive and how should I set it up at my venue?

Our cakes are baked freshly and flash-frozen before dispatch to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. For weddings, we recommend selecting a delivery date at least 2 days before the big day. We suggest keeping your wedding cake frozen until the morning of the wedding and leaving it to defrost at room temperature for at least 4 hours before serving. Even better, why not arrange delivery directly to your caterers?

How do I handle any issues or problems with my online cake order?

Our customer support team are available via phone, email and online chat to resolve any queries you may have. As long as you book your delivery 2 days before your big day, we should be able to deliver a replacement cake if neccessary.
